Begging Blog

I read a fantastic blog today that talks about how we let ourselves get screwed on major purchases.

You can read the blog in its entirety here and I highly recommend you do so.   This article says what thousands of Americans go through daily.   While I have never had a problem with a real estate agent, I dont think I have been happy with 1 loan from a mortgage lender.   There is always something that comes up last minute, that should have been so obvious it was caught right away.     Bottom line is they dont give a shit about you, your family, or your feelings.   They are in the business to make money.   Does that make them bad?  Not really.   But, knowing their motive, we must be careful.   Dont put yourself in a position that you cant walk away from a loan.   I walked away from my first loan, and it turned out to be the best move I ever made.   It pissed off the real estate agent, the banker, the home owner, but it helped my with my financial future (no comments about how im broke now, I didnt have a child with cancer at that point).
